PURPOSE:To speedily and efficiently locate a fault by separating faults at a lot of points. CONSTITUTION:First of all, a first judging process 11 loops back a transmission signal at the multiplexing/separating part at the station in use and judges whether the fault is generated at the multiplexing/separating part or not. Next, a second judging process 12 loops back the transmission signal at the transforming part of its own station and judges whether the fault is generated at the transforming part or not. Continuously, a third judging process 13 loops the transmission signal at the transforming part of a counter station and judges whether the fault is generated at the transforming part of the counter station or at a transmission line or not. Then, a fourth judging process 14 loops back the transmission signal at the multiplexing/separating part of the counter station and judges whether the fault is generated at the multiplexing/separating part or not. Thus, the faults can be segmented for the multiplexing/separating part of its own station and the transforming part, and the faults can be segmented for the multiplexing/separating part of the counter station and the transforming part. |
