PURPOSE:To provide image receiving paper for thermal transfer recording utilizing a heat-sublimable dye and prevented from becoming impossible to pass through a printer by the generation of a curl due to the relative humidity change of environment. CONSTITUTION:In image receiving paper for thermal transfer recording wherein an image receiving layer receiving a transfer image from a color transfer sheet is provided to the surface of a support composed of plain paper, an intermediate layer containing a binder with a glass transition point of 30-60 deg.C is provided between the support and the image receiving layer.
