PURPOSE:To form the embossed pattern excellent in a solid sense by sliding two pieces of rolls to the right and left or the rotation thereof in case of embossing a thin metal sheet with two pieces of rolls having corresponding uneven pattern. CONSTITUTION:An embossed pattern (uneven pattern) is formed by a projecting pattern 3 and recessing pattern 4 on a thin metal sheet A by passing the thin metal sheet A through two pieces of rolls 1, 2 which provide the projecting pattern 3 and recessing pattern 4 corresponding each other. In this case the gap DELTAa-DELTAd between the side faces 3a, 3c, bottom face 3b and upper face 3d of the projecting pattern and the side faces 4a, 4c, bottom face 4b and upper face 4d of the recessing pattern corresponding thereto makes DELTAb DELTAd, DELTAa-DELTAc=0.01-0.12mm, by sliding two pieces of rolls 3, 4 to the right and left or the rotation by 0.01-0.12mm. The forming state of the thin metal sheet A between the side faces 3a, 4a and between the side faces 3c, 4c vary, therefore, and a drawing becomes main between the side faces 3c, 4c and a bending between the sides faces 3a, 4a, the bend parts 11, 12 become sharp, the contour of the embossing pattern becomes clear and the solid sense and designing are improved. |
