PURPOSE:To obtain a molten metal supplying device, in which the molten metal can precisely be supplied into an injection sleeve regardless of kind of the molten metal supplying device. CONSTITUTION:In a communicating tube 12 for communicating a holding furnace 8 for molten metal 20 and the injection sleeve 27 in a die casting machine 2, a molten metal surface height detecting instrument 14 for detecting the height of the molten metal surface in the communicating tube 12 is arranged. The detecting instrument 14 is arranged at the upper part of the rising-up part 22 of the communicating tube 12 to detect the molten metal surface height in the communicating tube 12. By this method, the preparation for supplying the molten metal into the injection sleeve can precisely be executed and the supplying precision of the molten metal 20 is improved. |
