PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect a very small clearance between a door gasket part and a box-shaped body by detecting an operating factor of a compressor or a temperature of a cooler and computing the amount of frost deposits and determining whether or not it is excessive based on its comparison with the amount of frost deposits computed from defrosting time. CONSTITUTION:The amount of frost deposits at the present time is calculated based on an average operation factor of a compressor 7 for the past 24 hours which are immune to fluctuations produced by opening a door 2 by a user. Furthermore, the amount of frost deposits at the present time is calculated based on the difference between an inlet temperature and an outlet temperature of a cooler 16 on the average of 24 hours. In the case when the amount of frost deposits at the present time is considered to exceed the maximum amount of frost deposits expected on a design stage, the case indicates abnormal frost deposits. In the case when the amount of frost deposits fails to exceed the maximum amount of frost deposits, a comparison between the current amount of frost deposits and the average amount of frost deposits, say, 110% of the average amount must be made so as to see whether it is small or not. When it is determined as larger, the frost deposits drain out much. So it is necessary to indicate that there is a clearance on the door 2. |
