PURPOSE:To provide a word registration system which enables even a person who does not know the names of correct conjugation to securely register a desired part of speech and correct conjugation. CONSTITUTION:A word (the root of a word) to be registered is specified in an incompletely inputted character string stored in a storage part 4 through an input part 1 and its reading is inputted. The names of parts of speech stored in a part-of-speech list table 7 connected to a composition part 6 are outputted to a display part 5 and the user specifies the part of speech of the word. The composition part puts respective following inflection patterns (Japanese syllable attached to Chinese character to show its Japanese inflection) together behind the inputted root of the word, and prepares and displays lists by the patterns at the display part. The user specifies correctly changing conjugation on the basis of the displayed contents. When registration contents (word, reading, kind of part of speech, and conjugation) are determined lastly, the contents are additionally stored in a dictionary 3 through a dictionary registration part 10. |
