AVIAN IMMUNOMODULATOR PRODUCT AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

An avian immunostimulant product containing Interleukin-2 is produced from an avian spleen cell conditioned medium, with the product essentially free of proteins having a molecular weight greater than 100 kilodaltons, and preferably with the product essentially free of proteins having a molecular weight less than 10 kilodaltons is disclosed. The product is preferably provided in sterile form. Methods of making the immunostimulant product are also disclosed.
