PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit the work for removing a photosetting resin protruded from a substrate by providing a groove for preventing the photosetting resin from protruding on the surface of a substrate at the time of molding the substrate by injection molding. SOLUTION: Simultaneously with molding the substrate 1 by injection molding of a light transmission resin, on one main surface of the substrate 1, a 1st fine projecting and recessing part 21 are formed, and a translucent film 13 is formed on this part to form a 1st information recording layer 11. A 2nd fine projecting and recessing part 22 is formed on this 1st information recording layer 11, and a reflecting film 14 is vapor-deposited as a vapor deposition film on this 2nd part 22 to form a 2nd information recording layer 12, and then a protective film 6 is applied on this 2nd information recording layer 12 to obtain the optical recording medium. During this manufacturing process, the photosetting resin protruding preventing grooves 10ha and 10hb are formed in an inner circumferential part and outer circumferential part on the substrate surface formed with the fine projecting and recessing part 21 constituting the 1st information recording layer 11 of the substrate 1 respectively. |
