PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously register many terminals by instructing a route of a call to be transmitted to the terminal via a first earth station to the terminal via a second earth station and one of plural satellites. SOLUTION: When service is provided via the satellite 41 by the earth station 21 and the terminal 1 is registered in each VLR, each VLR transmits registered information. When the satellite 41 continues to move, the terminal 1 requires no registration again since the terminal 1 holds communication to a system. When the call is transmitted from a PTSN 7, the terminal is considered to be served by the station 21 by an HLR 3 and the call with the station 21 is tried by a gateway 5. The call is interrupted and its route is specified again by an OLR 45 based on the recorded information. Therefore, the DLR 45 is operated as a position register and is capable of performing many VLR registrations without hindering other parts of the system. |
