PURPOSE:To obtain the optimum film thickness of ink on paper by preliminarily storing the actual measured value of the position of an ink key in the memory table relating to a servo controller and controlling the position of the ink key so as to obtain a desired ink film thickness. CONSTITUTION:A film thickness measuring element 6 is connected to a light emitting/detecting part 8 through an optical fiber 7 and ink keys 2 are adjusted so as to adjust the film thicknesses of ink to 0%, 10%, 30%... and the data PT values of the potentiometers 9 connected to screw shafts 3 are stored in a memory table 11. The film thickness measuring element 6 is set to a predetermined measuring position by a drive apparatus 12 to measure the film thickness of the ink. At first, the position of the ink key 2 based on the film thickness of the ink on paper and the outer peripheral surface of an ink fountain roller, that is, the opening degree of the ink key 2 is stored in the memory table 11 corresponding to the film thickness of the ink. A servo motor 4 is driven on the basis of the data of the memory table 11 by a servo controller 10 and the positioning of the ink key is performed in matching relation to the pattern measured at every ink key 2 to obtain a desired ink film thickness. |
