PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a controller for inverter driving a motor or the like in which the output current is controlled accurately by correcting the output voltage accurately. SOLUTION: Output voltage from an inverter is detected by a voltage detection circuit 19 and the error from a voltage command value is determined by a voltage error operating unit 21. A dead time compensation amount memory section 18 stores the relationship between the voltage error and the output current value detected by a current detection circuit 20. Subsequently, a dead time compensation amount operating unit determines a dead time compensation amount from the dead time compensation amount memory section 18 based on a current command value and an adder 16 adds the dead time compensation amount to the voltage command value thus producing a corrected voltage command value. Operation of the inverter is controlled based the corrected voltage command value. |
