For assembling the closure system, an externally threaded insert is inserted through the tube end opposite the outlet end face and the threaded neck end pushed through the outlet opening and screwed into an outlet connector mounted on the tube body. An Independent claim is made for the container which has two compressible side walls, an outlet in one end wall and is made from a single piece of material. The two side walls are welded together at two opposing side edges and at the transverse end opposite the outlet opening. A closure system is screwed onto an insert protruding from one end face of the tube. Preferred Features: The film or composite workpiece has a breadth twice as long as the length and is drawn from a roll and folded into two equal halves from which the side walls are formed. Equidistant outlet openings are punched on the fold line and the film sections welded together with the outlet midway between adjacent welded seams. Alternatively the welding may occur before openings are punched. An internal thread may be formed in the outlet connector before the threaded insert is introduced into the tube. All process stages may be performed on a linear production line or all operations up to cutting off of the film section from the roll are effected on a linear line and subsequent process stages on circular cycling machines. |
