The device has a placing nut and a lock nut unit, fixed to the placing nut, to fasten a threaded shaft to a pipe. The placing nut has an upper chamber and an inner thread. The lock nut unit consists of an outer nut, a hollow conical screw element, and a hold-down screw element, to secure the shaft in position. The outer nut has an inner thread and an inner stopper flange. The hollow screw element has a conical head, and an outer threaded section, projecting from the flange and screwed into the placing nut thread. The hold-down element has an inner thread, screwed to the shaft, and an outer thread, screwed into the inner thread of the outer nut.
