The floor base, laid on evenly spaced cushions (2), consists of two layers of wood or chipboard panels (3, 4) fastened together by screws (5) at their corners or along their edges. The first layer is preferably 16 - 20 mm thick and the second 12 - 18 mm. The two layers are given a top coating (6) of paint, synthetic resin with or without filler, or a prefabricated material.
