The invention concerns a support member such as a headrest, comprising a cushion and a frame (1) including at least one supporting rod (3). The front part (4) can comprises a flexible plastic sheath (11) moulding the cover edge (14). The front part (4) can also comprise at least one vent (15) partially unidirectional.
