<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for frequency synchronization in a DAB receiver. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a delay circuit 31 for delaying DAB signals for a prescribed period, a correlation circuit 32 for correlating the delay output and the DAB signals, a movement averaging circuit 33 for taking a movement average in the width of a guard period to the correlation output, a peak detection circuit 34 for detecting the time position of the peak of the movement average output, a calculation circuit 35 for calculating the error of a reception frequency form the deviation of a phase at the time position indicated by peak detection output in the DAB signals, an FFT circuit 41 for FFT-processing the DAB signals and a detection circuit 42 for obtaining the center frequency of reception from the FFT output. A local oscillation frequency is controlled by the calculated output of the calculation circuit 35, the error of the reception frequency is corrected, carrier shift is performed by the output of the detection circuit 42 an correction to the error of the reception frequency is performed.</p> |
