<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely judge the position of a transmission/reception port fitted to a bus-type transmission line by obtaining the distance from the second end of the bus type transmission line. SOLUTION: Difference information Q between first and second superimposed signals SDR1 and SDR2 is obtained from these signals, and the timeΔt between t1 and t2 , which corresponds to the time difference of a first direct transmission signals SD1 and a first reflection transmission signal SR2 and which corresponds to timeΔt between times t1 and t2 in the case of the position judgement method of a transmission/reception port fitted to a former bus-type transmission line, is obtained from the difference information Q. A distance L from the second end of the bus type transmission line of the transmission/reception port is obtained by L=(c.ρ.Δt)/2 by using the timeΔt and the transmission speed (c) of light and by considering the reduction rateρof the bus type transmission line. Thus, the position of the transmission/reception port is obtained.</p> |
