The circuit has a cascade of several sets of rectifier and capacitor arrangements and a driver for outputting a signal whose amplitude does not vary rapidly but is constant for any given period. The cascades have connected and common contact points. A defined power supply voltage and the driver signal are is applied contact points in the uppermost stage and another contact point is set to a voltage lower than the defined voltage. An Independent claim is also included for an integrated semiconducting circuit.
