PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a countermeasure to a situation that a printing device is stopped in a printing system equipped with a printing device and a print controller connected with a network with which plural terminal equipment is connected without making it necessary for the user of the terminal equipment to always monitor the operation situation. SOLUTION: As for the change of a situation detected during the operation of a printing system, when the necessity of information by a check box 30 is designated, information mail data for announcing the change are transmitted to an address designated as the destination of information corresponding to the designation. Therefore, a person designed as the destination of information can know the change of the situation of the printing device from the information mail data, and it is not necessary for the person to go to the printing device, or to start a program for displaying the printing situation.
