PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure production with stable quality and to prolong the life of an apparatus by preventing the dew condensation of blow-off units in a draining device section and the flow of the heat of a drying device section into the draining device section. SOLUTION: A film liquid crystal display substrate 10 subjected to a washing treatment by sprays 21 in a washing device section I is successively transported to the draining device section II. The water drops sticking to the film liquid crystal display substrate are removed by the knife-like air blown off from the blow-off units 11a and 11b for drying air in the draining device section II. The drying air is blown (arrow A) to the blow-off unit 11b from an air nozzle 22 installed on the drying device III side to suppress the dew condensation on the flanks on the drying device side of the blow-off unit 11b. An air curtain is formed by blowing off the air in a perpendicular direction (arrow B) to prevent the thermal deformation of the units made of the resin used in the draining device section II.
