PURPOSE: A surface treatment method of a doctor blade for a developing apparatus is to allow the doctor blade to have uniform surface luminance and enhance the endurance and the anti-abrasive property. CONSTITUTION: A surface treatment method of a doctor blade for a developing apparatus comprises the steps of: preparing a base body(7) having a hexahedral shape; polishing a surface of the base body to be contacted with a developing roller(6) using a plane polishing machine such that the surface of the base body has a luminance of less than 1 micrometer; blast-processing the surface of the base body by blasting grits stacked inside an air gun using a compressive force of a compressor such that the surface of the base body has a luminance in a range of 1-10 micrometers; and forming a conductive anti-abrasive layer(7a) on the surface of the base body using a chemical vapor deposition.
