METHOD FOR DETECTING IMAGE AREA OF DOCUMENT FOR MAGNIFYING AND PRINTING IN ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for detecting a picture area of a document for magnifying and printing in all-in-one system is provided to perform magnification output according to an automatic magnification mode by arranging the document at any place and promptly detect the picture area of the document. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting a picture area of a document for magnifying and printing in all-in-one system includes the steps of confirming whether an automatic magnification mode is selected in an operating part of the all-in-one system(S301); freely scanning the document by applying averaging reduction method to a main scanning direction of the document to generate reference data for detecting the picture area of the document and applying a method for extracting one line of data every preliminarily set length to an auxiliary scanning direction of the document(S303); detecting the picture area of the document by using the reference data(S309); detecting an actual position of the picture image by restoring the detected picture area into the original picture area; determining magnification by comparing the size of the picture and the print paper(S310); and scanning the picture image and magnifying the scanned data at the magnification(S311), thereafter printing(S312).
