PURPOSE: To easily prevent a camera-shake photographing and to obtain precise exposure even in the case of comparatively low luminance by changing a camera shake limit shutter speed according to whether camera shake is corrected or not. CONSTITUTION: This camera is provided with an in-body microcomputer μC1 executing the control action of a whole camera and the various kinds of arithmetic operation. Besides, a light receiving circuit for detecting a focus AFCT is provided with a CCD line sensor for detecting a focus with respect to an object within a range-finding range, the driving circuit of the CCD line sensor and a circuit for processing the output of the CCD line sensor, A/D-converting it and transmitting it to the microcomputer μC1 and connected to the microcomputer μC1 through a data bus. Then, a first shutter speed used when a shake correction means is not actuated and a second shutter speed which is lower than the first shutter speed and which is used when the shake correction means is actuate are stored. Then, the shutter speed of an exposure time is decided based on object luminance and the first or the second shutter speed. |
