PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information receiving device that controls information reception by information from an external device. SOLUTION: The information reception device consists of a reception power supply control circuit 12 that controls supply of power to a reception circuit 13, an information exchange circuit 10 that is compatible with an IC card interface, and a control circuit 11 that controls the reception circuit 13 and the reception power supply control circuit 12, on the basis of information obtained through the information exchange circuit 10.
