摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which increases the reliability of correction data so as to cancel a fixed pattern noise, by a method wherein the correction data is generated on the basis of output signals from a plurality of rows of light shielding pixels. SOLUTION: From an area sensor 1, the output signals from the plurality of row portions of light shielding pixels are converted into digital signals by an A/D) conversion circuit 2 so as to be output to a computing circuit 3. In the computing circuit 3, the output signals from the light shielding pixels are computed and processed in every column, and the correction data for every column is generated. The correction data is stored in a memory part 4. When the output signals are given to a subtraction circuit 5 via the A/D conversion circuit 2 from ordinary pixels of the area sensor 1, the correction data stored in the memory part 4 is input to the subtraction circuit 5. By the subtraction circuit 5, image data which is corrected by the correction data in every column is output.
