A holder for a strip of reinforcing material used to strengthen an adhesive bond is permanently or temporarily secured to the container. The holder includes a device for cutting the strip to length. A container (1) of rapid action adhesive, preferably an air-curable organic polymer adhesive (e.g. epoxy adhesive), used to bond together a wide range of different materials can have secured to it a holder (2) for reinforcing material (3) used to strengthen an adhesive bond. The holder can be permanently or temporarily secured to the container and from it a chosen length piece of reinforcing material can be pulled out, cut and stuck to the adhesive bond. |
