<p>PURPOSE: To improve responsiveness by controlling a fastening spring to connect a driving sleeve to a driving ring during rotation in a first direction, and rotating the driving ring in the reverse direction by a control member in an electromechanical brake device. CONSTITUTION: When a coil spring 6 is pulled by a motor 10 and on the other hand, reversing of the motor 10 is prevented by a fastening spring 12, a driving sleeve 8 is normally fixed not to rotate in one direction by a fastening spring 16. On the other hand, when a control sleeve 17 is turned by a control motor 20, a driving sleeve 8 is freely rotated by the coil spring 6 until it is fixed to a housing 1 by the fastening spring 16, so that in the fixing direction of an inner fastening spring 18, torque is transmitted to a driving ring, a spindle 15, a ball nut 25, a power transmitted sleeve 23 and a power transmitting member 4. When the control sleeve 17 is rotated in the release direction of an external fastening spring 16 by a control motor 20, the power is transmitted through the inner fastening spring 18 to the driving ring 13. Thus, the responsiveness can be improved.</p> |
