PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a level display value independently of an electric field strength level even when a level of an input signal is high or low and surely adjust a high sensitivity antenna installed in an optimum direction at its installation. SOLUTION: A control microcomputer 8 controls a noise generation mixing section 3 to forcibly mix noise to the input signal so as to deteriorate the C/N of the input signal thereby forcibly deteriorating demodulation quality of a demodulation block, and when the C/N of the input signal is changed by a prescribed amount, the C/N level of an output of a C/N detection section 7 detected by the C/N detection section 7 is forcibly shifted, from a region wherein a change in the C/N level of the output of the C/N detection section 7 cannot be obtained, into a range of a region wherein the change in the C/N level of the output of the C/N detection section 7 proportional to the change in the C/N value of the input signal by the prescribed amount can be obtained, and the reception level display apparatus displays the reception level so as to be capable of changing the reception level display value independently of the electric field strength level.
