<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clearing system and a clearing method that are necessary for operations of representative clearing members who undertake other members' clearing, in a scheme to centralize clearing operations about securities and other trading in the national stock exchanges and over-the-counter market. <P>SOLUTION: The clearing system S for clearing securities trading comprises information storing means, computing means for computation according to information in the information storing means, and sending/receiving means for sending/receiving information to/from external computers. The information storing means store execution data acquired from non-clearing members 2 and market trading data acquired from a centralized clearing institution. The clearing system has processing of sorting out the execution data of every non-clearing member to create clearing ticket data on every non-clearing member, processing of classifying the execution data by securities type and computing net trading prices and trading volumes to create clearing ticket data for the centralized clearing institution, processing of matching the clearing ticket data and the market trading data, and processing of sending transfer command data from the sending/receiving means to settlement institutions according to the clearing ticket data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
