<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical tone signal generation method and a musical tone signal generation device capable of realizing a performance with a simple operation in the case of generating musical tone signals in accordance with the operation of a user, and to provide a medium in which a program is recorded. <P>SOLUTION: The musical tone signal generation method includes: (a) a phrase selecting process and (b) a plurality of musical tone signals generating process. In the phrase selecting process, a phrase is selected in accordance with the operation of a selection operator conducted by a player, a plurality of game pads having phrase selection operators is respectively assigned to a plurality of players and respective phrases are selected by the game pads assigned to the respective players. In the plurality of musical tone signals generating process, musical tone signals are generated by reading playing data of the selected phrase among the playing data stored in a phrase unit and a plurality of musical tone signals is generated in accordance with the plurality of phrases respectively selected by the game pads. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
