<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method for nitrogen oxide capable of reducing unevenness of regeneration of a nitrogen oxide removing function. <P>SOLUTION: The method for removing nitrogen oxide contained in a gas comprises a removal step for removing nitrogen oxide contained in the gas by feeding the gas to a nitrogen oxide adsorption means containing a solid adsorbent for adsorbing and removing nitrogen oxide; and a regeneration step for regenerating the nitrogen oxide removing function of the nitrogen oxide adsorption means lowered by the removal step by removing nitrogen oxide adsorbed by the solid adsorbent by feeding a regenerant from a regenerant feed pipe to the solid adsorbent.
