<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computation program which enables the user to grasp the length of a jumper for short circuiting a cable on a pylon. <P>SOLUTION: This program for computing the actual length of the jumper of a suspension jumper device is used to make a computer execute a step of outputting the input form of data on construction conditions, a step of preserving the inputted data on construction conditions, a step of computing the tension at construction of a cable; the catenary angle of a chain of insulators; and the catenary angle of a cable, a step of computing the output coordinate X0 of a jumper socket; the coordinate X1 of the clamping point of a horizontal suspension material; the minimum point X2 of jumper slackness; the intermediate point X3 between the minimum point of jumper slackness and the X coordinate of the outlet coordinate of the jumper socket; the vicinity point X4 to the outlet of the jumper socket; the cable rigidity influence point X5 of a jumper socket angle; and the cable rigidity influence point X6 of a horizontal suspension material, a step of computing the length of a jumper wire, having connected seven restriction points with one another by a spline curve, and a step of computing the total value of the amount of insertion into two jumper sockets, the amount of interval between the supporting points of spacers at both ends of the horizontal suspension material, and the amount of two jumper wires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
