<p>A removable electronic storage crushing device having a housing, a cylinder, a rod, a crushing head, and a receiving plate. The cylinder is threadedly received in the house and the rod an end of the rod is threadedly received by the crushing head. A source of power is operatively connected to the cylinder, which is operatively connected to the rod. Applying power or force to the cylinder biases the rod and the crushing head in a direction generally parallel to the housing's central axis toward a receiving plate, which defines a bore configured to receive at least part of the crushing head. When the crushing head comes into contact with a removable electronic storage device situated on top of the receiving plate, the force applied by the crushing head crushes the removable electronic storage device and any platters therein.</p> |
