PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder, a recording method, and a memory medium capable of executing an adequate recording operation without recording an image of which size is not agreement with a size of a recording paper even when the recording paper and an ink sheet each having different sizes are loaded thereto. SOLUTION: In the case where a recording paper having a size of A6 is loaded and an image to be recorded having a size of A6 is edited to be recorded, when a size of the recording paper is changed from A6 to A7, the recording paper P having the size of A7 is detected by a recording paper size detecting means (not shown in the drawing), then the size of the recording image is changed to A7, the image is rotated to be matched with the recording paper to be edited and the recording is performed on the recording paper having the size of A7. As a result, even when the recording paper and ink sheet each having different sizes are loaded, an adequate recording operation is executed. When the adequate recording could not be achieved even by reediting since the recording paper and ink sheet each having different sizes are loaded, it is possible to prevent erroneous recording on the recording paper by warning or stopping of the recording operation. |
