PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a distributed broadcasting program to a recorder corresponding to a compression form and to reproduce the recorded broadcasting program by discriminating an output form and performing MPEG2-TS type editing or any other editing. SOLUTION: An output form deciding part 110 decides the form for outputting the compressed video/audio data of a received program to the connected recorder or personal computer. An MPEG2-TS type editing part 111 transmits the MPEG2-TS type compressed data of the program to a device 20 for handling data based on an MPEGG-TS form as they are or while adding any specified header or the like to these data through the consideration of jitter or transmission error. A form editing part 112 excepting for the MPEG2-TS type transmits the MPEG2-TS type compressed video/audio data of the program to a device 30 for handling data based on any form excepting for MPEG2-TS while editing these data into the form to be handled by this device 30. |
