摘要 A method and an apparatus of decoding a signal in a radio frequency identification system are provided to enable an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag reader to decode an FMO(Frequency Modulation O) signal and a Miller signal received from an RFID tag without an error due to frequency offset. According to an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system comprising an RFID tag stored with an FMO code and an RFID tag reader transmitting and receiving an FMO signal to/from the corresponding RFID tag, a signal receiver part(41) receives the FMO signal from the RFID tag. A phase change detection part(42) detects phase change generation time in the FMO signal received in the signal receiver part, and then adds the corresponding detected phase change generation time to the FMO signal. A value of a first counter(44) changes according as phase dose not change in a symbol period section of the FMO signal outputted from the phase change detection part. A value of a second counter(45) changes according as phase changes in the symbol period section of the FMO signal outputted from the phase change detection part. A decoding control part(43) controls the first and the second counter according to the phase change generation in the symbol period section of the FMO signal, and decodes the FMO signal according to the value of the first and the second counter.
