<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process simulator for confirming a state of a process at a desired timing in a short time, when needed. <P>SOLUTION: Initial state of variable data which is calculated and changed by simulation is recorded in a first data recording file with time. When an appropriate specification condition is satisfied, the process simulator records the time and all variable data in a second data recording file. When the simulation state is confirmed at a desired timing, the process simulator reads the variable data satisfying the specification condition just before the desired timing, and performs simulation operation. After it exceeds the desired timing, simulation reverse operation is performed by sequentially reading the initial variable data recorded in the first data recording file by the simulation operation.
