<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source device, in which a plurality of power source cells having flat plate electrodes are connected in parallel, capable of detecting current flowing through the flat plate electrodes or change with time of current per power source cell, making a space for a sensor detecting the electrode current of each power source cell unnecessary, and enhancing current detecting sensitivity, and to provide the electrode current detecting method of the power source device. <P>SOLUTION: In the power source device in which the plurality of power source cells are connected in parallel, each power source cell has a pair of flat plate electrode parts of a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a pair of flat plate electrode lead parts extending from each flat plate electrode part or connected to the flat plate electrode part; an electrolyte arranged between the pair of flat plate electrode parts; and a magnetic field sensor detecting a magnetic field of the vertical direction to the surface of the electrode lead part, and a notch part formed by cutting out a part is formed in at least one electrode lead part in each power source cell, and the magnetic field sensor is arranged in the notch part so as to position on the same surface as the electrode lead part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
