A method for correcting performance of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve the convenience of a user and consumer satisfaction by using a mode for correcting the air conditioning performance. A method for correcting performance of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises a step of receiving a correction value for an incar sensor if a performance correction mode is selected by a user(S110,S120). An air temperature value detected by the incar sensor is calculated based on an air temperature value substantially detected by the incar sensor and the received correction value. If the correction value is a plus value, the air temperature value detected by the incar sensor is calculated by subtracting the received correction value from the air temperature value substantially detected by the incar sensor(S130).
