<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning device in which a water tank is divided into a storage section that stores recovered water having relatively high impurity concentration and a storage section that stores water having passed through a cleaning mechanism to have relatively low impurity concentration so as to cause water having relatively high impurity concentration to pass through the cleaning mechanism in priority to eliminate an impurity efficiently while supplying water having relatively low impurity concentration in priority, thus suppresses the volume of water passing through the cleaning mechanism to miniaturize the water cleaning device, facilitate manufacturing of the device, and reduce manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The water cleaning device includes the water tank that is connected to a recovery pipeline for recovering waste water and to a supply pipeline for supplying cleaned water, and the cleaning mechanism that cleans water. The water tank has the recovery side storage section that is connected to the recovery pipeline and that stores water having relatively high impurity concentration, and the supply side storage section that is connected to the supply pipeline and that stores water having relatively low impurity concentration.
