<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user-friendliness in operating an information processor by using a ranging sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A control processing part 211 analyzes detection data OBD and a current image display state or the like when detecting that an object has intruded into the neighborhood of a display device for a touch operation on the basis of detection data OBD based on a result obtained by a ranging sensor. Then, a control processing part 211 transmits a menu image acquisition command MNC corresponding to the analytic result to a menu image acquisition part 212, and transmits a display data generation command PIC to a display data generation part 113. A menu image acquisition part 212 acquires menu image data designated by the menu display command MNC from a storage device, and transmits the menu image data as a menu image MND to a display data generation part 113.
