To easily and accurately understand the direction of voids in an artificial bone. An artificial bone (10) having voids (2) that are aligned substantially in a single direction within an artificial bone material (the main body of the artificial bone) (1), which has a marker made of, for example, a linear signal (3a) indicating the alignment direction of the voids (2) aligned in a uniaxial direction on the surface thereof. As a substitute for the linear signal (3a), a convex or a concave may be used as the marker.Owing to this constitution, the direction of the voids, which are aligned substantially in a single direction, of the artificial bone can be easily confirmed.
