<p>The method involves triggering a signal for activating a light-signal system for outputting a light signal as a stop signal for coaches of a train and/or closing a barrier of a level-crossing. The coaches of the train, which pass the free level-crossing, are registered by a laser scanner, after closing the level-crossing. A signal is triggered for opening of a barrier, for switching off the light signal to stop traffic and/or to switch a red/green signal, after registration of ends of individual coaches or ends of last coach of the train. An independent claim is also included for a device for securing an automatic, signal-controlled level crossing.</p> |
