PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that can improve dust-proofness of a pair of case bodies.SOLUTION: An opening 222 formed in a lid part 22 is closed with an erected wall 212 provided on a housing 21, and a groove part 223 and a rib 216 engage with each other, so as to extend a path for passing dust between the periphery of the opening 222 and the erected wall 212, and thereby improving dust-proofness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
