PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramics metal junction body which is unlikely to be cracked even if heat is iteratively applied thereto, and a circuit board employing the same.SOLUTION: A ceramics metal junction body 10 comprises: a disc-shaped ceramics substrate 1; a first metal member 3 which is joined at a side of one principal surface 1A of the ceramics substrate 1 via a first metal layer 2; and a second metal member 5 which is joined at a side of another principal surface 1B of the ceramics substrate 1 via a second metal layer 4. In the ceramics metal junction body 10, the first metal member 3 includes: a circular first principal surface P1 which confronts the one principal surface 1A of the ceramics substrate 1; and a circular second principal surface P2 at a side opposite to the first principal surface P1.
