PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting a frequency of an oven controlled crystal oscillator capable of simply and exactly performing frequency correction of a crystal oscillator in the oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO).SOLUTION: Disclosed is an oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) which performs correction of oscillation frequency in the oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) constructed by housing a crystal oscillator C in a thermostat bath. This oscillator includes: leakage heat quantity detection means A for detecting the quantity of heat to be leaked to the outside from a package 4 which is a housing constructing a thermostat bath; and oscillation frequency correction means B for correcting oscillation frequency of the crystal oscillator C based on the quantity of leakage heat detected by the heat quantity detection means A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
