The coupling mechanism consists of a cage able to rotate freely relative to a mast, having a main axle (1) lying perpendicular to the mast and connected to the cage by a support (2) with locking stops (9b) and carrying two hubs (6, 7). The cage can be made in one piece or from two crosspieces (5a, 5b) joined by uprights (4a). The axle (1) comprises a brass or stainless steel tube.
