The invention concerns a container for storing objects, in particular flat objects, in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped comprising upper (10) and lower (11) walls separated by corner poles (2). The invention is characterised in that it is designed to be collapsible into a position wherein said walls (10, 11) remain stacked but are in the proximity of each other and it comprises means (5) for storing objects in the form of adjacent racks (51) suspended to the upper wall (10), made of a flexible and deformable material such that they do not prevent the container from collapsing and recover their position for housing objects when the latter is erected.
