PURPOSE:To control various characteristics such as the quantity of electric charge given to color toner particles by using plural kinds of carrier particle different in electric charge applying property to color toner particles as carrier particles. CONSTITUTION:In the electrophotograph developing method where a latent image is developed by a developer consisting essentially of carrier particles and color toner particles, plural kinds of carrier particle different in electric charge applying property to color toner particles are used as carrier particles. Thus, it is unnecessary to change the classification of carrier particles for each color, and constitution ratios of plural kinds of carrier particle different in electric charge applying property are changed to use the same classification of carrier particles for individual colors. Since the extent of electrification of the toner which is the fundamental characteristic of the developer is con trolled by not only an electrification control agent but also constitution ratios of carrier particles different in electric charge applying property, the number of degrees of freedom in design of color toner particles and selection and design of the classification of carrier particles is increased. |
