PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle engine control device capable of producing the engine speed requisite for the work and getting a desired output even if a troublesome changing-over work is not carried out at the time of engine high load during its traveling.SOLUTION: In an engine control device 50 comprising a pressure switch 37, a controller 35, and an accelerator dial 36 for instructing a target engine speed of an engine 34 to the controller 35, the controller 35 controls the engine speed in accordance with a target engine speed when the pressure switch 37 detects that the work vehicle is being traveled, and in turn when the work vehicle is not being traveled, the controller controls the engine speed in accordance with the target engine speed under a state in which the target engine speed is less than the upper limit value of the preset engine speed, but controls to fix the engine speed to the upper limit value of the engine speed when the target engine speed is instructed by more than the upper limit value of the engine speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
